Alice's Story 2013

When they came for inspection, intending to use and harm me again, I hid a broken shard of glass up my sleeve and fought back. The orderlies subdued me, however, hands wrapped around my bruised throat. The world around me faded and everything went out light a candle... I saw nothing, I heard nothing, but I felt the distinct sensation of falling, tumbling down, down, down, I was certain I'd find myself in hell...

But instead I started to see light and color. The tea table. 'You are very late for my unbirthday, Alice.' That's what the Hatter said when he saw me. and then I felt safe again. I was in Wonderland, my world, nothing could hurt me...I was through being pushed around. I marched up to the castle that day and...well, the queen likes her roses red, and what could be redder than the Queen of Hearts' blood? I tamed the Jabberwocky, and I bent Wonderland to my will.


It is the everchanging labyrinth of my dreaming mind. Even a dead god can dream, and in this world, I am that god....And I defy anyone to try and take it from me.


NOTE: As implied by my previous picture, my makeup, props, and even costume will change to suit 'Alice's' whim for the night, my goal this year is for Wonderland to be fluid, unexpected, ever changing, for repeat customers to never feel safe and sure of where they are.
